Al Ittihad Prepare Second Salah bid

Following the rejection of £150m from Al Ittihad for Mohammed Salah on the Europe Transfer deadline day, Al Ittihad has once again insisted on buying Mohammed Salah from Liverpool before the Saudi Pro League Deadline on Wednesday. Over the weekend, Liverpool insisted that NO CHANCE for Mohammed Salah this summer.

According to Sky Sports News today, Al Ittihad is preparing to make one more effort to sign Salah while others in the club advise that they should give up on him now until next summer. Any new offer will need to be approved first by the Saudi Pro League through the chief executive Saad Al Lazeez and director of Football Michael Emenalo.

Liverpool’s stand is still not changed on Mohammed Salah but rumor believes a bid of around £200m may change the Club’s stand. Mohammed Salah still has two years left on his contract. Klopp said to the press on Sunday “He is our player and he wants to play here”.

Sky Sport reinstates that there are big figures in the club that believe the club(Al Ittihad) should draw the line and drop the hopes of signing Mo. Salah but a 4-3 loss at home this weekend to Al Hilal makes it a big and tough decision to consider as they seek to improve their team more.

The next few days would determine the outcome of what may prove to be one of the most interesting saga of 2023. The Saudi Pro League deadline closes at 10 pm UK time on Thursday.
