In a shocking turn of events, the administration of Anambra State has taken swift action and sealed off the Cosmila Hotel in Awka following the tragic death of a young woman, Miss Chinyere Awuda, on its premises.
The incident occurred during a raucous birthday celebration at the hotel last weekend, where partygoers allegedly beat Miss Awuda to death.

Don Onyeji, took decisive action and sealed off the Cosmila Hotel. Speaking to reporters over the phone, Onyeji confirmed, “Yes, we have visited the hotel and also sealed it off. We are in touch with the police, who are already investigating the matter, and the facility will remain sealed pending the outcome of the police investigation.”
