The Joao Felix loan transfer to Barcelona was completed by the deadline. The player has joined fellow Portugal international Joao Cancelo, also on loan to La Blaugrana.
Felix has publicly expressed his intention to leave Atletico Madrid for Barcelona as part of a long-held desire to do so.
Prior to joining Barcelona for the 2023-24 season, Felix also extended his Atletico contract from 2027 to 2029, as Atletico sought to safeguard him as a valuable member of the team.
The player, who was on loan at Chelsea last season, will not feature in the weekend game against Osasuna due to his delayed registration.
