According to the most recent information from the Catalan city, Barcelona is about to make another sale of one of their La Masia prospects.
Estanis Pedrola, a 19-year-old winger with great pace, is reportedly close to joining Sampdoria, according to Jijantes FC. The Genoese team will first loan Pedrola, but at the end of the loan, they will be required to pay €3m.
Then, Barcelona will retain a portion of any further sales, which Fabrizio Romano estimates at 50%. Up until the summer of 2025, they will also have the opportunity to purchase him back for about €7m.
This will bring some comfort to Barcelona. It will give them enough control to bring Pedrola back in and sell him for a profit, even if they believe he can be sold for more than €7m after two years in Serie B.
Pedrola, a tall, strong winger who shone for Barca Atletic the previous season, scored eight goals in 21 league games. He might be a useful forward in Serie B due to his speed and ability to elude defenders. If given the chance to find his rhythm, he will be extremely destructive.
