Tottenham Hotspur allegedly has until Friday at midnight to accept Bayern Munich’s offer for Harry Kane.
The German champions are in pole position to sign the England striker but have seen a bid of £85m rebuffed by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Spurs are demanding a fee closer to £100m for their prize asset, but, according to the Daily Telegraph, Bayern will consider other targets if a deal can’t be approved soon.
If Kane doesn’t get his move to Bayern, it is expected he will see out the final year of his Spurs contract and leave for nothing next summer.
Both clubs, plus Kane himself, want the situation resolved with just another week until Spurs begin their Premier League campaign at Brentford.
