Erling Haaland Scores a Hat-trick as City Destroy Fulham (5-1)

Erling Haaland completed a second-half hat-trick to finish off a stellar week as Manchester City defeated Fulham to maintain their perfect record in the Premier League.

Haaland received the PFA Player of the Year award on Tuesday. He received a comparable prize from Uefa on Thursday.

Going back to doing what he does best, the Norwegian has increased his goal tally to six for the season.

With the score at 2-1 heading into the second half, Haaland, who had assisted Julian Alvarez on the opening goal, had the Argentine return the favour with a beautiful first-time pass for City’s third goal.

After Issa Diop fouled Alvarez, the Norwegian maintained his composure to score City’s fourth goal from the penalty spot.

When Haaland finished off Sergio Gomez’s cutback to win yet another match ball, he had already been chosen man of the match.
