The introduction ceremony for Apple’s newest smartphone series, the iPhone 15 series, included Inter Miami and Argentina sensation Lionel Messi.
The American tech company sneakily used Messi’s name when they first showed off their new gadgets.
Lionel Messi’s big move from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Inter Miami in the summer brought Apple and Messi together. The company and the forward came to an understanding that the forward would get a share of the money made from Apple TV subscribers. As the new phone’s highlights were being shown off, a slide came up with Messi’s name in a pop-up message.
This function is called “Dynamic Island,” and it was added to the iPhone 14 series for the first time. The pop-up said that the forward had scored eight minutes into the game, giving his team a 1-0 lead over Atlanta United. The game happened in July, and it was the 36-year-old’s second time playing for the team.
He scored again, giving his team a 4-0 win that helped them win the League Cup. Fans of Lionel Messi went on X (formerly Twitter) to talk about how great he is and praise him in different ways.
