Liverpool Rejects £150m Mohammed Salah Bid

Liverpool rejected a bid of £150 million from Al Ittihad for Mohammed Salah on transfer deadline day. The verbal bid is worth £100m plus huge add-ons from the Saudi Pro League, but Liverpool believes there is “no way” as Salah remains a key player for Liverpool.

Rumor has it that a bid close to £200m could convince Liverpool to let the forward go, as Salah would be open to leaving. A salary higher than that of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar is believed to be on the table for the Liverpool legend.

Mohammed Salah, since joining Liverpool, has registered not less than 35 goals and assists this season. It is believed it would take a “crazy bid” to buy him from Liverpool as the transfer deadline has been breached.

The Saudi Club is pushing hard for Mohammed Salah because they want him for the 2023 Club World Cup. However, Al Ittihad is desperate to get Salah, as they may be replaced by Al Hilal in 2024. Liverpool fully believes that their 31-year-old star man will stay at the club for the 2023–24 season.
