Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu allegedly fires APC Abdullahi Adamu and the secretary
The National chairman of APC senator Abdullahi Adamu and the National secretary senator Iyiola omisore have both resigned from their various positions ahead of today’s National working committee (NWC) meeting of the party. It is reported that they’ve been forced out on the order of Tinubu and their resignation will be announced formally at the NWC meeting.
Amidst the internal crisis strolling within APC, the Fate of the duo will be officially confirmed on Tuesday of which the meeting is scheduled.
Sources reported that Tinubu met with some governors and gave his nod to remove Adamu and Omisore,noting his displeasure mainly with the National chairman Adamu who recently opened up on his support for Ahmad Lawan,a former senate president as his own candidate for the party’s presidential ticket.
Acting on Tinubu’s order, a force of both serving and former governors with some members of the NWC and sme party chieftains started a plot to remove the chairman and the secretary. A number of Adamu’s sins was noted and after some back and forth, the chairman and the secretary threw in the towel. Notably, some big birds in the party have persuaded Adamu to re-sign before he got fired which might be too embarrassing.
All progressive congress in recent months have been having internal wars and crisis against one another and this happens to be another wave within the party. It is starting to look like a pattern as TINUBU had earlier fired the CBN Governor and the EFCC chairman, these individuals are known to not give their support fully to Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With the firing of APC’s Adamu and the secretary, it all looks like anyone who doesn’t give his support would have questions to answer with Mr Bola Ahmed TINUBU.
