A naked woman in California got out of her car on one of the nation’s busiest bridges and began firing a gun on Tuesday during rush hour on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident caused chaos and confusion as drivers tried to avoid the woman and her gunfire.
The video footage captured her strolling along the shoulder and discharging her firearm into the air. A man recording the disorderly scene can be heard in the video exclaiming, “This guy has a f****** gun.” He and a friend then remarked that it seemed she had run out of ammunition.
The woman was eventually taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol, who said that she was suffering from a mental health crisis. No one was injured in the incident, but it caused significant delays on the bridge.
