Neymar told PSG today that he wants to leave and that Barcelona is willing to let him come back. Together with Pini Zahavi, his family made the decision to depart from Paris.
It has long been believed that the Brazilian would be interested in returning to Barcelona, and the French giants have been willing to sell him for the past two summers. Despite having five years remaining on his contract, Neymar has informed PSG that he wants to quit the team, according to L’Equipe.
His final location will be the issue, though. Chelsea and Saudi Arabia have been mentioned as prospective destinations, but the claims lack much support. Meanwhile, there has been speculation that Neymar will move in the opposite direction, as Ousmane Dembele may be moving to PSG.
If it weren’t for Manager Xavi Hernandez, according to La Portera de Nunez, a deal—most likely a loan—would have been completed. Barcelona’s board believes it would be a wise marketing decision, but Xavi Hernandez is emphatic that Neymar shouldn’t be brought back.
