Obi Will Be President, Abure Tells Nigerians in US

As the date for the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to make its decision, September 16, gets closer, Barrister Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has promised Nigerians in the United States that Peter Obi, the party’s candidate in the February 25 presidential election, will soon be named president.

Also on Monday, Obi scolded those who were trying to link him to bad things and told them to put their energy into making Nigeria a better place because he would not be stopped from doing the same.

Abure, who has been on a tour of the United Kingdom and the United States to urge members of the party and the Obedient Family, said that the tribunal’s decision was likely to come on or before September 16, 2023.

Obiora Ifo, the National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, said in a statement that Abure told the Obidient Nigerian community in Washington, DC, that their candidate would win the race in the end.

“After Peter Obi ran in the general election of 2023, we changed the way Nigerians talked about politics. We made them work for what they had. They killed sleep, so they will never sleep again. They have taken things that don’t belong to them, and they won’t sleep until we get them all back.

“We expect a decision between now and September 16th. I’m sure Peter Obi will become president, too. Since they took over, things have gotten worse, and I don’t mean to brag.

“The Labour Party and Peter Obi are the only ones who can solve the problems that the country is facing. So, we still think things will get better in Nigeria. I want to say that we shouldn’t give up hope or get down on ourselves. ” The hope is still alive, and I’m sure Peter Obi will be president,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Reno Omokri said that Obi had bribed Mr. Rufai Oseni, an Arise Television journalist, by paying for the funeral of his father. In response, Obi called this accusation “wicked blackmail” against the brave journalist who has been doing his job professionally.

His words: “In general, I don’t call people names or throw mud at them. I also don’t attack people or try to hurt their reputations in the course of my political career.”

“I have also tried to avoid responding to cheap, mean, or evil blackmail in the same careless way that it is thrown at me. Anyone who has watched me in business or politics knows that I always stay on top of issues and try to find ways to solve problems and make people’s lives better.

The former governor of Anambra State said he needed to clear things up, especially when a third party was involved and “where my name was used in malicious and cheap blackmail against one of Nigeria’s best TV presenters, Mr. Rufai Oseni, who has stood up for what is right and challenged me fearlessly on some occasions while speaking truth to power.”

“Let me be clear: this is an absolute lie straight from hell. Everyone who knows about my life will agree that I don’t pay anyone to spread the word about me. I have never paid a writer to say or write something good about me.

Obi said, “I always accept invitations to social events like birthday parties or funerals. People know that this is something I do often.”

“Many journalists, people in the media, poor people, rich people, etc., have asked me to their events, and they can all attest to the fact that I go, especially when people are sad. Since it is possible in Igbo custom, I always bring gifts to these events to show my support for the celebrant.

“I’ve never been to the village where Rufai lives. Even as I write this, I still don’t know where he comes from. Then you have to wonder why people would want to ruin other people’s reputations for no good reason. I hope that those who do such bad things do well, and I pray that God will have mercy on them.

“Finally, our main goal in Nigeria should be to save the country from the many problems it is facing. We need to do more to help people get out of poverty.

“Millions of people in Nigeria don’t know where they will get their next meal. We have millions of young people who are able to work but don’t have jobs. Finding answers to these problems is important for the growth of our country, and that’s what I’m still committed to doing. PO”
