The Brazilian Real Madrid player, Vinicius Jr. has been honored, as the finest Ibero-American player.
His accomplishments and victories with the Real Madrid squad are highlighted in the Spanish News Agency’s sports editorial staff’s presentation of the award.
After ending the season with the Royals, Vinicius accepted the honor in the Spanish capital of Madrid. He then joined the Brazilian national team, which will play two friendlies against Guinea and Senegal.
The footballer expressed his gratitude for the accolade, saying that it encourages him to “keep working and developing” in order to perform at his best.
In 2017, the “royal” team of Real Madrid won the Effie Cup as the greatest Ibero-American club, and Vinicius became the eighth Real Madrid player to receive the honor.
