Betty Akeredolu, the wife of Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has released a photo of him in a hospital in an unidentified foreign country.
Last month, Akeredolu, who is coping with an undisclosed illness, handed power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
As stated in a letter he filed to the Ondo State House Assembly to request medical leave, he was scheduled to return to work on July 6. However, he drafted a second letter to request an indefinite extension of his absence.
While the governor was gone, there were rumors about his health.
However, the governor’s wife released a photo on Friday to demonstrate how quickly he is recovering while lying in bed ill.
On the wheelchair in the photo was Akeredolu, who was wearing a white track suit, and his wife was standing next to him.
