The Saudi pro league has appointed former Chelsea executive Micheal Emenalo to be its first director of football with the responsibility of developing the competition and teams rested on him.
Micheal Emenalo served as Chelsea’s technical director between 2011 and 2017,moved to Monaco and served the same position between 2017-2019. With experience and credibility to his name and in a bid to transform into a better League, the Saudi has sought to hire the former Nigeria international.
With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, karim benzema, Ngolo Kante, Eduard Mendy and many other top European players who had moved to the Saudi pro league, it is evident of their determination to be more competitive and attractive as a league.
With Micheal Emenalo’s experience and expertise, the Saudi pro league hopes to receive massive transformation with proper financial backing and good sporting decisions.
