Super falcons goalless against Canada
The Nigeria female national Team opened their FIFA women’s world cup tournament against Canada earlier this morning. A game that every eye awaits but it was to a goalless end as both sides weren’t able to put a shot at the back of the bet but with Canada a better side in the game.
The game which saw two interesting sides, dazzling and razzling with the ball for 90mins, looking for victory which Canada was closer to winning the game after winning a penalty against the super falcons but the super falcons goalie Chiamaka Nnadozie made a huge difference by saving the penalty shot. Her elite performance won her the Player of the match Award.

Amidst the struggles of Victory, the Super Falcons’ Midfielder Deborah Abiodun, won herself a straight Red card after a brutal tackle on Canada’s defender Lawrence. Deborah Abiodun will miss the next three games and can only play again if the super falcons qualify from the group stage.
Next on for the super falcons on Thursday again in Australia. The super falcons will have a boost on Thursday as Rasheedat Ajibade and Halimatu Ayinde have completed the suspension following their Red card against Morocco in the semi-final at WAFCON last year. #SuperfalconsG
