At the weekend, Terrorists attacked Kwarikwarasa village in Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, killing two people and kidnapping seven more.
It was believed that the criminals entered the neighborhood early on Saturday morning to carry out the attack.
Nasiru Idris, the state governor, visited the neighborhood and informed residents that steps have been taken to prevent a repeat of the occurrence.
He claimed that his government has provided the security agencies with all the assistance and cooperation needed to battle crime throughout the state.
The governor promised that “we will stop at nothing” to protect the state and transform it into a place where people may peacefully produce their farms, go about their daily lives, and sleep with their eyes closed.
