TikTok Star VonViddy Dies by Suicide After Posting Final Video

The online community is mourning the loss of Joe Muchlinski, better known as VonViddy, a popular TikTok star who died by suicide on August 21, 2023. He was 26 years old.

VonViddy was known for his comedy and music videos on the platform, where he had over 170,000 followers and 8.7 million likes. He also had a significant fan base on Instagram, where he posted his original songs and guitar skills.

Hours before his death, VonViddy uploaded a video on both TikTok and Instagram, in which he talked about his achievements and struggles in life. He said he wanted to be remembered as “an artist and a musician who loved his family” and thanked his fans for their support. He also revealed that he had been an addict and an alcoholic who “put his family through hell”.

The video, which has since been deleted, sparked concern among his followers, who flooded the comments section with messages of love and encouragement. However, it was too late to save him from his demons.

His sister, Martha Muchlinski, confirmed his death in a video posted on her TikTok account [@martha_merced](^1^). She said that her brother had “lost his long battle with mental illness” and took his own life. She also said that he had fought a “long and really terrible battle” with his mental health issues.

She expressed her grief and gratitude to his fans, saying: “Joe was my first word. He was my older brother, my only sibling, and this is one of the worst days of my life. I know folks have been concerned since his last video and deserve some closure.”

Many fans and fellow creators paid tribute to VonViddy on social media, sharing their condolences and memories of him. They also urged people to seek help if they are find themselves overwhelmed or suicidal.
