Former Lagos State governor and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria after a nine-day working visit to Europe.
Tinubu is said to have held meetings with various stakeholders, including political leaders, notably Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), and HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, former Emir of Kano.
The visit is one of many since the past year and comes at a time when opposition parties are challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in court. Tinubu’s return is expected to generate political momentum as speculations rise regarding his potential candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections.
His trip to Europe aims to engage with international partners and garner support for his political ambitions.
