The London club Arsenal Football Club has submitted a whopping transfer fee of £75m +(£15m adds on) for their London rival club’s midfielder Declan Rice, who seems to be a top priority in preparation for the coming EPL season and their UCL campaign.
Arsenal finished 2nd in the EPL in 2022–2023 after spending over 90% of their campaign as the leader of the Premier League. With less than 10 games to end the campaign, they fell short and let the trophy slip off their hands, which allowed Manchester City to lift the trophy yet again, completing a hattrick of EPL trophies in their consecutive seasons of 2020/21, 2021/22, and 2022/23. All these happened after Arsenal occupied the top position for almost the entire season, but it was enough to say they were the second-best Team in the league and to say they achieved and satisfied their longing for the UCL since they last participated in the 2016/17 campaign.
Declan Rice has been their top midfield Target for the coming season as they look to strengthen their side. With an eye for a trophy in the coming season, it is believed in Arsenal’s camp that West Ham’s Captain is the best to improve their midfield, with one of their midfield players, Granit Xhaka, expected to leave the club this summer.
It is now expected that West Ham will accept or reject the offer. If West Ham accepts, it would be the Highest record signing in the history of Arsenal Football Club and also the highest record sale for West Ham.
The initial belief is that West Ham would jump on a bid in the range of £90 million to £100 million. According to a popular transfer guru, @Fabrizio Romano, it is believed West Ham will reject the offer as the add-on of £15 million may be difficult to achieve. The coming days would judge what the Fate of the deal would be.
