On September 13, 2023, a new temporary center for UK visa applications will open in Enugu State, Nigeria. This was stated by the British High Commission in Nigeria.
The British High Commission in Nigeria stated this on Monday through its verified X account, which was formerly known as Twitter.
The center will run out of the Omedel Luxury Hotel, which is at 4/6 Link Road off Pascal and Jerk Bustop in Enugu’s Independence Layout. It will soon offer services twice a week.
“The appointment system lets people who want to get a UK visa choose Enugu as their application place. This is in addition to the places that are already there in Abuja. Lagos and Port Harcourt are the two biggest cities in Nigeria.
“The temporary submission center in Enugu opens as a Premium Location, which means it will cost NGN246,250.00, which includes a Premium Lounge appointment, courier return, SMS notifications, and general customer help and direction.
“The demand for visa services will be closely watched, and if there is enough demand, the services will be reviewed and/or expanded. TLS will test this location for at least three months to see how many people use the service and make a decision about whether to keep it going,” said the statement.
