Independent journalist David Hundeyin has reacted to the new Student Loan Bill signed into law by Bola Tinubu.
An aide to Tinubu, Dele Alake, disclosed on Monday evening, June 12 said that the bill will enable Nigerian students to access loans at interest-free rates.
He also said the bill would boost the educational pursuit of the youths across the country, adding that to enjoy the facility, students must show evidence of being indigent.
But reacting, Hundeyin who took to his Twitter handle Thursday, said Tinubu’s Student Loan Act is unrealistic adding the latter has no genuine intention to give students loan.
He further broke down the stringent conditions applicants must meet before accessing the loan.
