BREAKING: Nigeria’s Table Tennis ace, Quadri Aruna Wins 2023 ITTF- Africa Senior Championships Men’s Singles

Nigeria’s Table Tennis Ace, Quadri Aruna, triumphantly defeated Egypt’s Ahmed Saleh on Sunday to win the men’s singles title at the 2023 ITTF Africa Senior Championship, which is held in Tunisia.

Quadri Aruna won 4-0 with a score count of 11-2, 12-10, 11-6, and 11-6, which was enough to claim his victory and show his prowess in the game.

The 2023 ITTF-Africa Senior Championships kicked off on the 11th of September and has come to a close today, September 17, 2023.

The 35-year-old professional table tennis player competed for Nigeria at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics, reaching the Quarter Finals in 2016.

The Nigerian-born Tennis player is the first African player to be ranked in the top 10 in the world. Aruna also won the Outstanding Sportsman of the Year Award at the 2018 Nigerian Sports Awards.
